Mrs. Flynn and Mrs. Casale's sixth-grade classes spent a week in the Gloversville Middle School Library with Mrs. Lindsay completing a Greek Mythology Character Report. The scholars learn to research and appropriately cite information using NoodleTools.

In the event GESD is forced to close tomorrow, Tuesday, March 14th, our district will run a virtual instructional day. Further information will be forthcoming from the building administration.
Mrs. Miller's 6th Grade scholars participated in a lab this week that had them walking around their grade level wing gathering specimens. They are now checking the petri dishes throughout the week to observe if there is bacteria growth. Scholars swabbed common items like door handles, water fountains, light switches, and chromebooks!

SCITAMARD Drama Club presents, "Xanadu", March 10, 11, and 12. Tickets are available at the door, $8 adults and $5 students. Performances will be held in the Gloversville Middle School auditorium. Friday and Saturday performances begin at 7:00, Sunday at 2:00.

On Friday, February 17 GMS held an i-Ready ice cream social! Any GMS scholars that maintained or improved their i-Ready ELA or math scores were invited to the ice cream social. It was a wonderful afternoon for the scholars and staff before a well deserved break!
