Mrs. Miller's Pre-K had a parade around the school where they wore flag crowns and played musical instruments to Patriotic Music for Flag day.
Former GESD graduate Skyler Reed came to Boulevard and gave an amazing lesson on astronomy and telescopes. Skyler is an astronomy major at Oneonta and runs the planetarium at the college. When he attended GHS, he actually founded our astronomy club!

Students in first grade at Park Terrace participated in Pirate Quest days. Students had to follow the clues around the school, then walk the plank to find the treasure! Classes also enjoy a special pirate guest reader, Captain St. Amour!

Mrs. Berlin's speech students at Boulevard are getting ready for summer by writing their bucket lists!
Sophomore Zoie Tesi is a New York State Champion!
Her jump of 5’5”won her the D2 New York State Championship in the high jump.
She also finished in 4th place in the New York State Federation.
On May 20th, students at GHS met with the members of the Building Leadership Team. Topics that were discussed included why graduating is important to them, how to improve school attendance, and how Gloversville High School can help them be successful.
Students in Mrs. DeMaria’s and Mrs. Sweeney’s second grade classes participate in a daily check in every morning before entering the classroom!
The Gloversville Unified Basketball Team celebrates their first place win by inviting the opposing team for a pizza and soda party following the game. A great time was had by all.

Thank you to everyone who supported the blood drive last week at GHS. We exceeded our goal of 20 units and collected 26 units of blood. That blood will be used to help save lives.
