This week at Boulevard we started our Boulevard Book Buddies. Our 5th graders pair up with our 3rd graders to spend time each morning reading and sharing books! We are hoping for some nice weather soon so our group can enjoy reading outside in the sunshine.

Mrs. Cornell's class is learning about forces. For today's science challenge, students had to design bridges using only paper, no tape or glue. They had to try and design a bridge that would hold the most pennies over a six inch span. The winning bridge held 119 pennies!

The GMS & GHS Battle of the Books teams competed on Thursday, April 7th, in the regional competition held at the Arkell Museum and Library in Canajoharie. Congratulations to the GMS Battle of the Books team on winning first place in the middle school regionals competition.

The Gloversville Middle & High School Battle of the Books teams competed on Thursday, April 7th, in the regional competition held at the Arkell Museum and Library in Canajoharie. Team members prepared throughout the year by reading a list of books to help them to identify quotes, authors, and titles during the competition. Gloversville battled against schools in neighboring regions.   Congratulations to the Gloversville Middle School Battle of the Books team on winning first place in the middle school regionals competition. The team faced a competition first this year with a member competiting remotely. The GMS team members are Annabelle Case, Evelyn Clo, Erin Williams, and Miranda DuBray. The coaches are Mrs. Lindsay and Mrs. Simpson.  The GHS team of Joy Kalac, Finley Ebersole, Sal Ambrosino, and Krizzia Santander finished second in their regional round against Roxbury & Fort Plain. The coach is Carla Bengle-Mackey.
